I've been running on and off since graduating college. I ran my first and only road marathon in 2008 then discovered trails in 2009. It was then that I realized that I actually loved running. Oriflamme 50k was my first ultra in 2010 where improper training led me to knee issues that were finally resolved in 2016.
I'm starting to run again after the birth of kiddo #2 on Valentine's Day of this year. I still would rather run only trails but now appreciate training via road and treadmill as well in order to maintain a good running-family balance. And, hey, a double stroller is good training, right?!
